Both on tour and in Montreal, Cas Public devotes significant attention to the sharing of contemporary dance to a wider demographic, from its artistic repertoire to its expertise regarding pedagogy. The company conducts its cultural outreach activities by providing a variety of classes and workshops, tailored to different groups needs.
Every season, Cas Public invites emerging choreographers and dance companies from Quebec to take part in its choreographic laboratory residency program. This initiative aims to support dance research and creation by providing a workspace conducive to exploration. While the laboratories may focus on works for young audiences, they are also open to all contemporary choreographic approaches. A call for projects is issued each year.
